The hosted demo is intended for:
- Evaluation – Test the system before self-hosting
- Education – Learn how manufacturing execution systems work
- Development – Test integrations before deploying to your own instance
For production use, self-host Eryxon MES on your own infrastructure.
Future Plans

Section titled “Paid Hosted Version (Q2 2025)”In Q2 2025, a paid hosted version may become available if there is enough interest. This would include:
- Full production capacity – No limits on jobs, parts, or storage
- AI Features – Agentic processes, chatbots, and intelligent automation
- Priority support – Direct support channels
- Managed infrastructure – We handle backups, updates, and scaling
Licensing
Section titled “Licensing”Eryxon MES is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1).
What You Can Do

- Evaluate and test for development and educational purposes
- Offer services – Consulting, integration, or customization services to help others with their own self-hosted instances
- Create derivative works for your own internal use
- Fork and modify for your own manufacturing operations
What You Cannot Do
Section titled “What You Cannot Do”- Offer the Licensed Work as a hosted SaaS that competes with or substitutes for the Licensor’s commercial hosting offering
Open Source Conversion
Section titled “Open Source Conversion”After four years from publication, each version automatically converts to the Apache License 2.0, becoming fully open source.

Early Access Notices
Section titled “Early Access Notices”The hosted demo is currently in early access. Here’s what that means:
- Free to use during the early access period
- Bugs may occur – We’re actively developing and improving
- Downtime possible – We may need to restart services for updates
- Data may be reset – Demo data is not guaranteed to persist
- Features may change – The interface and functionality may evolve
Multilingual Notice
Section titled “Multilingual Notice”English: Heads up – this is an early version. Free during early access, but expect some bugs or downtime.
